Tabs: How to use · Usage · EstimateFormat: Excel (.xlsx) · opens in Google SheetsSetup: Under 10 minutesColumns: 5

Columns (grey = calculated for you)

  • Month
  • Usage (kWh)
  • Est. solar production (kWh)
  • Offset
  • Bill savings
  1. Open the Usage tab and replace the sample rows with your own — one row per entry. Formulas fill in automatically for new rows.
  2. Enter 12 months of usage from the bill and production from a modeling tool (such as PVWatts) for the actual roof.
  3. This is an estimate: rates, export credits, shading and degradation change results. Do not promise savings; tax credit eligibility depends on the customer's own tax situation.
  4. Using Google Sheets? Upload the file to Google Drive, then open it with Google Sheets (or File → Import in an open sheet). Formulas, dropdowns and highlights carry over.

The file opens locally on your device — nothing is uploaded, and you own the copy outright.
