Columns (grey = calculated for you)

  • Student
  • Tests avg
  • Homework avg
  • Participation
  • Weighted grade
  • Letter
  1. Open the Grades tab and replace the sample rows with your own — one row per entry. Formulas fill in automatically for new rows.
  2. Enter each student's category averages as percentages (type 92% or 0.92). Set your category weights on the Settings tab.
  3. Weighted grade turns red below 70% so students who need help stand out; Letter uses a standard 90/80/70/60 scale.
  4. Using Google Sheets? Upload the file to Google Drive, then open it with Google Sheets (or File → Import in an open sheet). Formulas, dropdowns and highlights carry over.

The file opens locally on your device — nothing is uploaded, and you own the copy outright.
