Columns (grey = calculated for you)

  • Project
  • Phase
  • Phase fee
  • % complete
  • Billed to date
  • Additional services
  • Reimbursables
  • Earned
  • Remaining fee
  • Ready to bill
  1. Open the Fees by phase tab and replace the sample rows with your own — one row per entry. Formulas fill in automatically for new rows.
  2. Split each project's contract fee by phase (a common split is SD 15%, DD 20%, CD 40%, Bidding 5%, CA 20%).
  3. Update % complete monthly. Ready to bill shows earned fee you haven't invoiced yet (amber).
  4. Using Google Sheets? Upload the file to Google Drive, then open it with Google Sheets (or File → Import in an open sheet). Formulas, dropdowns and highlights carry over.

The file opens locally on your device — nothing is uploaded, and you own the copy outright.
