Columns (grey = calculated for you)

  • Category
  • Budget
  • Spent so far
  • Notes
  • Remaining
  • % used
  1. Open the This month tab and replace the sample rows with your own — one row per entry. Formulas fill in automatically for new rows.
  2. Set a monthly Budget per category, then add each receipt to Spent so far (or keep a running total on your phone).
  3. Remaining turns red when a category is over budget; % used goes amber at 90%. Start a fresh copy of the tab each month.
  4. Using Google Sheets? Upload the file to Google Drive, then open it with Google Sheets (or File → Import in an open sheet). Formulas, dropdowns and highlights carry over.

The file opens locally on your device — nothing is uploaded, and you own the copy outright.
