Columns (grey = calculated for you)

  • Category
  • Vendor
  • Estimated
  • Actual
  • Deposit paid
  • Balance due date
  • Balance due
  • Remaining
  • % used
  1. Open the Budget tab and replace the sample rows with your own — one row per entry. Formulas fill in automatically for new rows.
  2. Estimate each category first, then replace with the actual contract price once you book. Remaining turns red for any category over estimate.
  3. Track deposits and balance due dates so final payments don't sneak up on you; the Overview tab compares everything with your overall budget.
  4. Using Google Sheets? Upload the file to Google Drive, then open it with Google Sheets (or File → Import in an open sheet). Formulas, dropdowns and highlights carry over.

The file opens locally on your device — nothing is uploaded, and you own the copy outright.
